Need encouragement

Hi all, I'm get tinning towards 62 and need encouragement to lose 75lb. Try to be active but finding it hard to stay motivated so if you want someone to join you on a weight loss journey please feel free to contact me

    For staying active, find something fun, so that you are looking forward to it!

    Have you ever taken dancing lessons?

    Played with a hula hoop lately?

    When was the last time you shot some hoops?

    How about a bike?

    Do you have access to a nice park that is a joy to stroll?

    Once I found things I like, more formal exercise became training so that I could do the fun stuff longer and better :)

    It also helps if you can find a partner. I don't think I would walk five miles very often on my own, but it is a great way to spend a morning with friends.

    Find something you LIKE to do as previous poster stated and it will all fall into place. If you are an "outdoorsy" person walking and hiking would probably be a good place to start.
