Sounds legit to me. I don't believe in logging cleaning or shopping or everyday stuff - but if you aren't normally tearing down walls logging it and eating back the calories seems good to me. If you're actually a builder for a living and this is your normal activity then you'd want to just up your activity level instead of adding it as exercise.

I didn't eat back the calories, do you have to?

When I spent the afternoon organizing my daughter's room, I counted it as light cleaning. I only counted 2 hours. However, I have my activity level set at sedentary, so I count pretty much all activity and then I eat the extra calories. I like the reward.

My calorie goal is 2020. I have been coming in under everyday, normally I wouldn't add work as an exercise but I just had neck fusion surgery & have been out of work for 2 months so when I did the work around the house,It was like exercising.
