Desert Every Day?

If I'm averaging 1200-1500 calories a day, is 250 calories a fair amount to devote to dessert--chocolate, candy, cookies, etc?

I've tried (and love) fruit, but when I want chocolate, nothing really satisfies the cravings except for actual chocolate. Is this okay to eat every day?
