Ab workouts after csection

I've had 2 csections. First was twins August 2011, then I had another baby June 2013. The first delivery, I was able to get my stomach back to normal pretty quickly. Just a few weeks of 30 day shred and I was pretty happy with my stomach. This time around, I'm having a harder time. I've been doing 30 DS for a week now and I don't feel sore in my stomach at all like I used to when I did 30 DS, so I know it's not doing anything for me. Is there anyone who have had success with something else after a csection? Is there another ab workout that is going to help me look less pregnant? Any tips would be great!

You may be confused. Ab workouts have no bearing on how your stomach looks. If your stomach went back to normal before, it was because you were creating an appropriate calorie deficit which burned the stomach fat and made it go down.

Abs are made in the kitchen. There are no workouts that can spot reduce JUST the stomach, or any other body part. Stick with a calorie deficit, and give it time.

My doctor told me that I need to do ab workouts to make my stomach muscles stronger since the pregnancies ruined them. I still look 5 months pregnant because my ab muscles are weak. I don't feel like I'm using my abs from doing the 30 ds so I want to do another workout to make my abs stronger again.

Absolutely you should do ab workouts to strengthen your severed muscles from the cesarean. That's not what I was saying, though. My comment was more directed toward the fact that you seem to think that doing ab strengthening workouts will do anything MORE than just that--strengthening the abs. You core will get stronger, but unless your eating is on point it probably won't noticeably affect the flatness of your belly. Does that make more sense?

Ah, yes. I carry most of my weight in my stomach, so I'm not looking for abs right now. I'm wanting to strengthen my stomach muscles, and I'm wondering what I can do, since I'm not feeling anything from 30 DS.
