Plenty of people at my gym take BodyPump + a cardio class. You should be ok doing it as long as you are sure to listen to your body.

    Bodypump IS a cardio class...

You have to be smart about your exercise and training. WHY would you take another cardio class after doing Bodypump?

That said, knock yourself out lol Just make sure you can always answer the question "why" when you're training.

As mentioned BodyPump is a cardio class already. No reason to really do it, but whatever floats your boat.

When doing both, I prefer doing the BodyPump AFTER a different cardio class. Sometimes, like last night I did BodyCombat after BodyPump and my legs felt noodly.

I use to go to Fernwood womens gym and I did body pump 4 days a week. Omg I loved it so much!!! I love the after burn, it's very addictive to feel that.

I use to do body combat, body pump and then body balance - body pump, body step, body balance.

    It's awesome!!

That's what worked for me I got down in my size 8-10 clothes, but my weight stayed the same from the time I went in at 75kg.

I do bodypump and a dance class on the same day.

Why? So I can burn additional calories, which allows me to eat more, which makes me feel not hungry and not deprived, which keeps me on track with my weight loss.

Would be smarter to do strength training before this class. Or after. Cardio strength and flexibility the three parts of fitness

I'm doing okay for a "not smart" person. My weight loss is going well, I like the way my body looks, and I have a doctorate in neuroscience and a job in my field. If this is what "not smart" looks like, I'll take it.

If they have classes that I like back to back, I usually take 'em all.

    BodyStep, BodyPump, BodyCombat
    BodyCombat BodyPump BodyAttack

Mostly it's two classes max, though. BodyPump & BodyAttack or BodyPump & BodyCombat.
