Hi

My protein is automatically set at 84g per 24 hours, is this enough as I have no idea how much protein I should eat and what is the down side if I am under the limit set?

I am currently doing 30 day shred which I do 3-4 a week and I go the gym twice a week and do workout similar to 30 DS we do programmes that include strength, cardio and Abs and are about a 45-60 min programme. Rather than using gym equipment.

Also when doing strength I am using anything from 2* 2.5 kg- 2* 7kg weights depending on the exercise we are doing

Thanks in advance

that is probably the minimum you need... MFP sets protein fairly low (15%)... anything between 25 -40% of your daily calories can come from protein without it being 'too much'.

    ^^^^^^^

And if your protein is too low, your body will be impaired in repairing muscles post workout, combatting soreness, and building muscle.
