Hi
I am trying to loose weight and now I've booked a holiday I have to loose it!! It's a must!!
I need someone who can just cut to the chase and tell me how many calories I should be eating in order to loose weight with very little exercise ( I say very little, but I don't mean it as in I won't do any, as I walk the dog for half an hour a day, i have some fitness dvds to do ect but sometimes I can't do these things due to work/baby)
I'm currently: 177lbs / 21 years old / 5ft3
My goal weight is around 150lbs
I go away in 165 days.
Please help me. I will try to do at least 3 workouts a week + more if poss!
No harsh comments needed***

Have you read the Sexypants thread yet? It's a lot of reading (and all of the linked threads are worth a read, too) but I think it's the best beginner's guide on the boards: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/1080242-a-guide-to-get-you-started-on-your-path-to-sexypants
Plug your stats into a TDEE calculator and eat about 20% less than that. I like Scooby because it will do that math for you: http://scoobysworkshop.com/calorie-calculator/0 -
Have you gone through the MFP calculation yet? I set my activity level to sedentary (I work from home in front of a computer all day) and it gives me 1200 calories. Then I record ALL of my exercise and I get a few more calories to eat from it.
You're going to get a lot of different answers after this one. But this is working for me.0 -
Read the sexypants thread that Dianne linked. You're going to have to do the work yourself to figure out your calories, just like you'll have to do the work to lose the weight. Only you know your true activity level, workouts, etc.0

I agree. Start here. You want to lose 27lbs in 23 weeks, that's slightly over 1lb per week. MFP has all those calculations set up for you if you enter your numbers in your account.0
