I have a question for those who use this heart rate monitor. I can't understand how it tracks you fat calories. Especially bc some workouts, it could say out of 300 calories burned, only 20 are from fat. Other workouts, same workout, it could say 150 of the 300 calories are from fat. Any thoughts?

it's using heart rate zones - at more intense levels of exercise more / all of the calories are provided from carbs. In my own case over 130 bpm I'm entirely carb fuelled as I had a test done with a breath analyser.
Polar website explains it - look for "zones"0
