Protein - Meat vs Substitutes

So I've lost 10lbs in 3 weeks, which I am amazed and astonished about. Apart from the usual calorie deficit, I've noticed that my diet consists of a lot less meat than it used to - I've substituted a lot of it with Quorn, making curries, stirfries, pies etc. My concern is though my protein intake seems to be quite low in comparison to my carbs and fat on the nutrition pie chart.
I have two questions:
1) Is Quorn not as good a protein source as actual meat?
2) Is the reason I've lost that much weight because I'm not eating as much meat?

Congrats on the weight loss and the diet change! Quorn is a pretty decent meat substitute in terms of ingredients and protein. You may also want to explore less processed ingredients like beans and lentils for some of those meals (much cheaper too, especially if you buy dry instead of canned). As far as your weight loss, it is hard to say without more info - did you eat a ton of red meat before? Or did you stick to lean meats like boneless skinless chicken breast or pork loin? If you cut out a lot of red meat, that would be a big drop in calories and fat. Probably not quite as large a change if you were eating mostly lean white meat products.
