Suggestions...lifting with an elbow injury?

I am super jealous of the women in the heavy lifting thread!!!!! That is the body I want.

My problem is an old elbow injury. I broke it when I was a child, and I can't put much strain on it now or it locks up on me for months at a time.

For those who are experienced, could you recommend any exercises that might work? Currently, I focus on lower body: squats, deadlifts, lunges, etc. Fortunately (I guess), I am pear-shaped, so at lower weights I don't have any body fat covering my smallish arm muscles. haha

Exercises that are problems for me: push-ups and pretty much anything that requires me to bend my elbow with a weight in hand. Lateral raises are iffy because of the joint strain.

I think I would be a personal trainer's worst nightmare!!!
