Losing weight with IBS

I've been diagnosed with IBS-C. Oddly enough, it was really bad when I was a vegetarian and ate really well (low carbs/dairy). Now I eat meat and cut down on the veggies I eat and now I don't have issues as often. Completely counter intuitive and weird. Everyone is different and what works for you might not be common but once you find what works - stick with it.
The biggest thing I have to add is that with IBS-C you have to be patient with your weight loss. When I am having an issue my weight loss isn't apparent. I have to learn to go with trends or pick optimal times to weigh myself.
