Question for people who do yoga

Hi! I have a question for people who do yoga! So within the last few months, I've managed to lose 10 lbs. which is huge for me because I'm 18 and have only ever gained weight. My regular fitness regimen is working out 6 days a week: 3 cardio-only days (45 min. Sessions) and 3 strength + cardio days. This has been working for the last few months but I've noticed I get really tired easily now. I think I need another rest day or tone it down. However, I want to start yoga. I don't know if I should switch it out with a day or do it on rest days or do it in addition to cardio days. I can just never seem to get myself to do yoga. I don't have the patients. Tips would be highly appreciated!

If you're feeling tired, I'd ditch the cardio on strength days. Out in some yoga there, or after cardio. If you want to do a longer, more intense yoga session, swap it with a cardio day.

I got invited to a "yoga party" once.

    We didn't do yoga.

Hey, I'm a yoga intermediate. :) I use the app Sworkit (free), I recommend you download it and see if it works for you. The only requirement is a yogamat.

When i first started I did a more fuller intense yoga on strength days ( about 45m or so) and small 20 minute sessions on cardio days as it helped keep me lose and i was less likely to get sore muscles. I never do strength n cardio on the same day as it would burn me out badly and i would need longer recovery times. Every so many weeks instead of just my 1 day off twice a week it became 3 days off or 4 days off to recover ( i think that was until about 3 mos or so into) Once i hit my pattern n figured it all out I only need those 2 days again.

I have no patience either but i can honestly say I have acquired it for yoga over time and I cant live with out it now. I love the jello feeling it brings me
