I got nothing other than wings and beer! It will be somewhat of a cheat day but don't want to make it too much of a cheat day because weekends are bad enough!

Looking for something yummy and easy to make!

Go Bronocos!!!!!! I hate not cheering for Seattle since they are in our division but got to go with my boy, Manning!!!!

A million pounds of this amazing five-layer dip my best friend makes, my oven-broiled hot wings and homemade ranch dip, beer, beer, another half-million pounds of dip, beer, Pizza Hut pizza, beer, food coma.

This is the plan. I'm not logging or tracking on Sunday (I'm currently on maintenance calories for personal reasons anyway); I just plan to frat-boy it up with the junk food, alcohol, and yelling at the TV.

Since the OP asked if folks wanted a recipe and then disappeared two hours ago I went ahead and picked up her slack. I had to go ALL THE WAY TO THE GOOGLE MACHINE but I found it

    Ingredients
    1/2 cup vodka
    1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
    3 tablespoons sugar
    1 tablespoon olive oil
    1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
2 1/2 pounds chicken wings, tips trimmed off
    Preparation
    1. In a large bowl or resealable plastic bag, combine vodka, lemon juice, sugar, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Stir to dissolve sugar and salt. Add the chicken wings and mix to coat. Cover bowl or seal bag and refrigerate for 2 to 4 hours.

    2. Preheat oven to 400°. Line a 9- by 13-in. baking pan with two layers of foil. Arrange the chicken wings in a single layer in the pan, and pour the marinade evenly over all. Bake until meat is well browned and pulling away from the bone, about 1 hour and 15 minutes. Serve hot or warm.

I would just stop at the first three ingredients. No need to waste good vodka on chicken wings! :drinker:

Hubby is dieting too so he wants me to have at least a couple of healthy options...... i'm still thinking about what to fix so that's why I looked in on this thread. it's just the two of us but my husband has said Sunday is a free day and he's not counting calories! LOL

    shrimp w/cocktail sauce
veggies and hummus or a white bean dip

    the maybes are:

lean beef or turkey sliders w/caramelized onions
    zucchini fries
    baked wings

i saw a recipe for these feta cucumber roll ups..... slice a cucumber length wise on a mandoline and put a mixture of feta cheese, greek yogurt, sundried tomatoes, olives, oregano or mint etc.
