    In one of the other recent weighing threads someone mentioned she'd bought some fancy, decorative measuring spoons that were almost twice the size of her regular spoons. Not even all tbsps are created equal.
    Yes, there is no standards testing of kitchen measuring utensils.

    For what it's worth, I have two different kinds of (light) mayos in my pantry. One has a serving of 1 tbsp (14g), the other has a serving of 1 tbsp (16g).

    That's why you want a scale, lol.

    The safest bet is always the weight. teaspoons, tablespoons, cups etc. are just bad estimations
