Staying Positive

I can think of lots of things I'm not happy with right now, but I've decided to focus on the positive instead. Today my alarm rang out bright and early for my 6:00am treadmill date. I might have hesitated briefly but I did get up and moving, And it was worth it, I had a great jog and reached a new goal! I may not see the results I want on the scale, but my body is changing for the better! I'm getting stronger and have more endurance than even a few weeks ago.

What have you done today that made you feel positive towards your goals?

    Keeping with the idea of staying positive, even though the scale is not moving nearly fast enough for my liking, I've done a couple things over the past few days to keep me moving in the right direction.

    1) I bought a food scale, and I LOVE it. I normally use measuring cups, but after reading about how food scales can really help keep calorie count more accurate I decided to give it a try. Still getting used to it, but overall 20 bucks well spent.

    2) I bought two 5lb weights and a Jillian Michaels Ripped in 30 DVD. Started week one today, and oh my, I'll be feeling it in the morning. But I defiantly felt good afterwards (when my heart stopped beating out of my chest!)
