siiigghhh.....
So, little predicament I am in..... my birthday is tomorrow.... as you can imagine.....there WILL be cake, lots of food and plenty drinks... it only gets better...Friday I'm going out with friends to dinner and drinks to a bar-type place..... In other words:
Thursday - At work, there will be cake, cookies and all kinds of goodies.... I know I can kind of play it off and not do too bad during the day. The problem is at night, I'll be going to my mother-in-law's home, and well, it's hard to say no to her, especially when the reason for all the goodies and drinks is my Birthday.... plus I LOVE her cooking lol! And I would hate to be rude....
Friday - Going out to dinner with friends and co-workers...once again, I know I can have a nice salad and be ok, the drinking will probably be the issue.....
I know, I know, its my bday, I should not be worried about counting calories or at least not being TOO concerned. Trust me, I know how to bounce back, usually in a week I can make whatever damage I made, disappear.
The reason why I am so concerned about my calorie intake and just my overall eating/drinking gaining weight thing is because I signed up to Diet Bet - online weight loss bet - about a month ago and well the official weigh in is on Feb 3rd. That's next Monday...which means that I have less than a weekend to somehow make it happen. I am currently at the goal weight based on the rules and I've been able to maintain myself all this time...but it feels like a total waste if I just go full blown food and drinks happy for two days causing me to lose the bet..... Now, I don't want to cheat and do any juicing and fasting and all those things bc its just un-healthy in my opinion. I made it this far working hard and I want to keep it that way....
I don't know what to do and I hate feeling worried during my bday weekend.....what would you do? Suggestions please.... or anything that may help...
Thank you in advance,
MD.
