Bubble Butt

Is it possible to squat your way to a great butt? I have no butt, and I want one. I see that squats supposedly do the trick. Im wondering is this possible? I work out, HIIT classes, running, Airobics, so im not just sitting around but wondering is it worth it?

Yes. But those things you see like 30 Day Squat Challenge are not what people mean when they say squats get you there. Weighted squats are what's necessary, and you should supplement them with good mornings and lunges as well. All weighted. And keep progressively adding weight.

You could do squats (full depth) but I would also suggest seeing if you have issues with posterior pelvic tilt. That will definately make your but look flat. Most people have the opposit problem (anterior pelvic) tilt which causes lordosis and makes your but look bigger. I have heard it called pink panther vs donald doc syndrome.

A combination of correcting posterior pelvic tilt and adding muscle mass doing below parallel squats will proabably help dramaticly. pelvic tilt issues are caused by muscle imbalnces and flexibility issues.

Your anatomy is pretty much decided. HOWEVER, you can make what you have as "good" as you can get it. Lunges, squats, deadlifts, donkey kicks... Vary the workouts so that you vary the muscles touched by them (there are several gluteal muscles you need to work in order to get the "ideal" shape). Just squats will only get you so far, though. :) Hope this helps some!

All of the above, but want to add that once you get past a bit of newbie gains, in order to gain muscle you are going to need to eat in a surplus

Thank you for all the knowledge. It definitely is encouraging. I like the idea that I can make what I have the best it can be!...
