5k training mostly on treadmill

Hi, I'm doing my first 5k in March on my birthday! I just started training although I've been going to the gym regularly for almost a month now. My time today was 51.15 mins for 3.2 miles. I know I will need to do outdoor running as well but currently it's 10 degrees here. I'm wondering if anyone had a good training program that includes 75% treadmill training? What were your beginning times do I have any hope? Thanks in advance for any information :)
