Well it makes me feel good, anyway

From being on this site now for a month I know I'm nothing too special, but when a local journalist contacted me the other day to talk about the weight I've lost so far I couldn't really say no. I've been quoted quite a bit out of context on the Gastric Band stuff (they've got a bit of a campaign going), as I actually said I'd never thought about it but would possibly have gone for it if it had been offered, but it's mostly just a nice little piece.

Still a long way to go yet, though!

add an "l" at the very end of the link. so it says *http://www.burtonmail.co.uk/News/One-mans-tale-of-fighting-the-flab.html* then it'll work. :))

Oops, sorry. Looks OK - strange that, if I copy it then it does it fine. The forum doesn't seem to accept BBCode or HTML so I can't do it as a proper link. All I can do is assure you that the link

    http://www.burtonmail.co.uk/News/One-mans-tale-of-fighting-the-flab.htm

is absolutely correct, it doesn't need the "l" at the end. Not sure what else to suggest to be honest :S

Is it working OK for other people?

Worked for me. Congratulation on changing, and probably saving, your life. Very inspiring. Keep up the great work. Thank you for sharing.

    Thanks

I'm having trouble opening it now myself, both with and without that link. I think the website's experiencing some issues, I can't open it on my phone either so it's not just my connection - and with the above, it would explain the problems.

Shouldn't take too long to fix, it's the local newspaper here so it's a busy enough site.

I can see it fine! Maybe it's one of those things that come and go. You can also get to it from a heading down the page here http://www.burtonmail.co.uk/News/

Nice work man ...! (But you didn't mention MFP?)

Actually, I did! But they edited it to suit their agenda, and sadly that didn't appear.
