How do I log my Subway sandwich for lunch. I know there are some in the database, but I don't know how to log my exact sandwich and what I have on it. Thanks guys!

Here is a link to the nutritional info for Subway. Make sure to add cheese, condiments etc. as I think the base calories don't count that.

Subway has every single thing they have on a nutrition table on their website, subway.com Just add it all up on a calculator (each macronutrient written down separately) then add it as a meal. If you order the same thing and go often, it will be easier to find in your meals then searching the database (so don't add it to the database - it gets confusing, trust me. I can never find the same sandwich so I've just made my basic "usual" and just take it from "my meals" when I order it!)

PS - Yes. Read the small text below the margin with the sandwiches. I think it includes lettuce tomato cucumber and a couple other things. I usually just deduct the cucumber but it shouldn't matter, it's like 3 calories.

Also remember how much they say on the table and watch who makes your food and make sure you say "light" for almost everything or you'll be eating more calories than you're logging.
  • Thanks ya'll!
  • I actually had subway for dinner yesterday. I like getting a footlong and breaking it up into two small meals.

To find out the calorie count I used this calculator: http://www.eddieoneverything.com/calculators/subway-sandwich-calorie-carb-nutrition-calculator.php

It's way easier than having to add up all the totals by hand.

    Hope that helps!

Yesterday I went to the Subway website nutrition page because I wanted to try something new and I was logging all my food in the morning to make a plan for the day. I read the small print and was pleasantly surprised that on all sandwiches except the "Under 6 grams of fat" group, the calorie count included cheese! So I was able to subtract off the cheese calories when I logged mine. I skipped the baked chips and that made Subway fit into my day perfectly!
