I have just started focusing on weight loss through diet. The is completely new to me. I started at 226lbs, over the past few days I have dropped 6lbs. My goal is to drop a total of 51lbs. Any tips you have would be great!

Welcome! Log everything you eat accurately & honestly. Find reliable database entries. (There's a lot of incorrect data in there.) Weigh your food. Log your exercise, and eat back your exercise calories for two weeks. If you're still not losing, eat back half your exercise calories.

So glad I found this site. When I started logging my food intake, it was a huge eye opener for me. I am starting this out super excited and motivated.0
