Half Way through my Third Pregnancy-Need to eat better

Hi all! I need more friends that like to post and keep me looking on this site. I am 22 weeks pregnant with my third baby boy. So no girls for me-this is the last one

I have not been tracking and can see it in my thighs, arms and face. Baby looks good but I do not. I am not tracking calories but I am tracking what I eat. I find myself eating more healthy when I am tracking.

I finally lost almost all the weight from my first two kids and now I get to start all over after summer. It is all worth it in the end but I am already starting to hate how I look. :noway:

I need to look up pregnancy workouts on my smart TV. Maybe keep it light and happy.

Come on June 7th! I am sure having three kids will keep me active

The best advice I can give is to stay as active as possible with your doctors okay! Also protein and fat are far more filling to me than carbs, so for quality calories that's what I would shoot for if you feel you're eating too much. Carbs will give you the energy boost so it's definitely a balance! Is doc concerned about your weight gain? I would definitely not worry one bit if your doc isn't. You're performing life's most amazing miracle; growing a new baby is the best and most important job in the world! Good luck!

Hi! I'm 36 weeks with my third boy. I've made a real effort to eat right/log food, and I'm having a completely different pregnancy (weight wise - I always feel great when pregnant)

I would say, definetly watch what you eat, especially salt because not only is not too good for you, but it makes you get swollen fast! As well as retain tons of water. I had my second son 11 months ago, and I would usually have cereal (i was obsessed with KIX and banana lol), and pb & J sandwhiches with a glass of milk, those two things were my favorite to bring to the office. For lunch I had protein, veggies, fruit. Of course I did endulge here and there, we're pregnant how could we not? haha.
