Everyone has their favorite fitness books, whether they are for weight training, aerobic exercise, etc. Here are a list of my favorites from over the years and why I liked them:
Power to the People-Pavel Tsatsouline, Gained more strength in less training time than any other program I ever tried.
Dinosaur Training-Brooks Kubic. Gained more size using this book than any program previously tried.
Jeff Galloway’s Book of Running-Jeff Galloway. Jeff’s book guided me through being a beginner to being a sub 40:00 10K runner.
Enter the Kettlebell-Pavel Tsatsouline. Love this for kettlebell training. Very basic, simple, but tough.
You Are Your Own Gym-Mark Lauren. Great bodyweight training. Gives specific exercises for specific levels of fitness, plenty of variety in the exercises and the set/rep schema.
What are/were your favorites and why?
