Found this website yesterday and thought I'd give it a try. I've been on every diet out there, but have difficulty staying with it. Each time I lose but gain it back and then more. I did not put on weight until pregnancy and did not lose it before another pregnancy. Well 11 years post pregnancy here and an additional 50 pounds so I'm at 305. I'd be thrilled to be at 200 but my goal is 175. One day at a time. I'm 38 years old, just married for the second time and have my life together in every way but this one. If your in a similar situation I'd love your support and to support you to.

    I Joined a slimming group called Slimming world on May 31st 2013 starting weight 329lb. 35 Weeks later and I now weigh 208lb. You are not alone there are many of us. I am a Male living in the UK (not sure where you are) you can see my results in my profile pictures. Last night I gained my 8 and half stone loss certificate a photo of which is now my profile picture. Add me as a friend if you like I update my food and exercise diary every day. Well I have since joining MFP anyhow. :-)
  • I AM 38 years old as well with an office job and a 5 year old who LOVES junk food! A good idea is every day come up with your own individual reason to keep going and the hardest thing of all, is one day at a time (I hate that saying but it's really true). Reason 1. You will be healthier. You can do this and keep reading the posts and getting ideas and suggestions and reaching out to people who are along this ride with you. (Like me)
