Inner elbow pain after dumbbell curl

I was using 1 lb weights for 30 day shred level1.Two days back I got 5lb dumbbells and after using it for 2 days ,my inner elbow is having a pain.It doesn't hurt till I try to stretch my hand.I am putting ice pack and switched to 1lb for dumbbell curl.Do I need to take break? Is it due to sudden change in weight or wrong positioning.Any helpful tips ?
