Well i just finished my second run through the Firms Yoga for beginers. Its 30 mins and a really good starting point for those of us who might be scared of Yoga (i was)

I wont go as far as to say it was easy but the woman on the DVD sure make it look easy while im sweating and trying to breath.

Give it a go if your looking to add a quick little pick me up a few days a week.

For me 6'4 and 246 i burnt 162 cals in those 30 mins. Im hoping the added stretching will help heal my badly abused joints.

Yoga is odd that way. You will sweat, but you don't burn that many calories.

Make sure you aren't harming your joints more. There are certain poses people with bad knees shouldn't do, for example, while other poses are great for the knees.

Listen to your body and stop if you feel pain in any joint. Muscles can hurt a little though

Yeah i know that well from years of martial arts training...which i stoped a decade ago. This DVD really is a beginers step so the moves are very basic if a little painful at times.

Thanks for the advice i cant wait to try the GF's Firm Power Yoga.
