    The bad thing about Subway is the salt Otherwise, it's a great way to get in a ton of veggies.

    There are definitely "healthy" and "unhealthy" options at Subway. I usually get turkey, but what I really want is tuna with cheese...maybe extra cheese too.

    Subway can be good or bad. Normally I consider it better than most eating out places, but are you getting chips vs. apples, and coke vs. water, extra mayo or extra veggies, extra cheese or extra lettuce. A lot of it is your choices within your choices that will quickly add up. And the fact is one normal meal (not a Michael Phelps 6000 calorie meal) will not normally make or break your day. It is how everything adds up.

    No food is inherently bad in and of itself.

    Some foods make it easier to hit your calorie, macro and micro goals, while other foods require some careful planning.

    A lot of people need to get out of the mind set that food is either good or bad. That can lead to guilt and shame.

    Food is fuel and one should exercise moderation. Choose wisely, but to me, yummy food is the spice of life! :drinker:
