Logging weight training on MFP

Hey all, I am doing weight training. I just logged my reps for today and noticed that it does not count calories. I am getting sweaty and out of breath and raising my heart rate while lifting, so I would be burning cals, right?
Why doesn't MFP count cals from weight training?

It does, you just need to log it under cardiovascular as well.

Do I just type strength training and put the time I spent doing it? I feel like that would provide a really inaccurate number of cals, I mean, I could be really challenging myself or half a**ing it in the weights room. I challenge myself, but how would it know?0
