Help with Protein and Protein shakes

Hey guys. I have been trying desperately to understand how to determine my Protein needs for weight loss, and I am having difficulty. As I understand it you multiple you weight in kg by 1.6 to 2 and that will equal how many grams you need? So if I am 221lbs, then I would need about 161g on the low end? How much of this can I get from protein shakes? (I love my protein shakes) Also, what is the maximum amount of shakes I can consume in a day? My tub of Whey Protein doesn't specify.
Also, what foods are the best for getting what I need? I am not really a HUGE meat eater, and I don't much care for beans.
Thanks in advance guys, I find all this stuff so confusing!

I can't really help you except to tell you to go to IIFYM.com and fill out their questions to determine your TDEE. Go to their IIFYM calculator. They will then offer a standard macro plan for your needs. You can enter the amount of calories you would like to eat in a day and it will do the math for you. Good luck!0
