NOT HAPPY

Im actually mad at myself for being upset at a 4.3lb loss. I know thats awesome but I thought it would be more so Im bummed. I hate this. When I get to my goal.....and I stress WHEN not if, I will never let this happen again!! Thanks for letting me vent!!

    I struggle to lose 4.3 lbs a MONTH!!! You lost it in a WEEK?!! That is awesome girl!!!! Go you! :D

    Happy, mad, sad, these are all choices. You control these emotions by the way you speak to yourself.

    First of all, congrats on 4.3. That's great!

    I very often question whether I'll be able to keep up my new way of eating. I try do a few things to gain the confidence that I will stick to it.

    1 - Read success stories here on MFP and other sites. CNN.com very often features weight loss success stories on their home page.
    2 - I make sure not to deprive myself of the foods that I like. Enjoying your meals and snacks is important for long term commitment.
    3 - Get involved. I participate in challenges and make myself visible. I share my NSVs with friends (they're probably sick of hearing from me already :) ). That way I stay motivated not to cheat.
