Enough is enough. Everywhere we go, we are being inundated with ads promising us that taking a few pills a day will burn fat. Turn on the television and you hear doctors recommending the latest and greatest fat burner (here’s a little secret: most doctors take only one class in nutrition during their education, and thus know very little about nutrition and metabolism). If you want to waste your money on fat burners, go ahead and stop reading. If you want to learn the truth, keep reading.

Personally, when I see many of the ads on TV and websites promoting these "miracle" products I can only lament the lack of critical thinking amongst the general public. (Sorry if that sounds harsh but, it's true......)

    It amazes me how ALL the gimmicks that are out there promote using them with a well balanced meal and exercise, then people buy whatever product, change their eating, start exercising, yet when they lose weight, it's cause of the magic pill or shake...lol.

    I had someone tell me 14-17mins of cardio was....:laugh: :laugh: :laugh:

    I love cleans and jerks...i can't do even remotely he kind of weight that girl is doing though. I just took up some olympic lifting in December to compliment my routine...they're a lot of fun but very technical. I still just use the bar for snatches.

    and to the OP...yeah...I pretty much feel the exact same way.
