Hello.
I 18 years old, 5'11-6ft ish, and weigh a hefty hefty 233 pounds (106 kilograms). Now that is obese. My doctor has instructed me to lose about 35 kilo grams for my own safety. I will lose the weight but I can't imagine myself 30 kilograms lighter. Friends and family automatically assume I'm about 70-80( 154-180 pounds) kilograms already. I know being so tall is a massive factor but I don't have a massive amount of body fat. I don't know really I am quite boney already.

Anyway, I'm just wondering is anyone else have this problem?

Do you mean LOOKING like you weigh less than you actually do?

Most people underestimate how much fat they actually have to lose.

ETA: I just did the math - at your height, 35kg seems a lot though.
  • I'm in the normal BMI range but most people are surprised at how high my weight is:)

If you want to be able to visualize what you might look like at that weight I suggest taking a look at mybodygallery.com

You can limit it to women who have your height/body shape.
