I've been using MFP for the last few weeks, and I think it's great.
I've become really calory aware, and I'm often checking my potential lunchtime purchases against the database to find out if it's allowed or not.
And since I started doing this I've lost around 6 Kg, which is pretty good, but there's plenty more to go!

I do the same thing, experiment with things on the database to see how many calories I'm actually consuming before.
