Zoodles?

I got a bunch of goodies from Amazon delivered last night (finally)

One of the many thing I bought was one of those Paderno World CuisineTri-Blade Plastic Spiral Vegetable Slicer. It makes zucchini noodles, carrots noodles, and a bunch of other things.

I'm a pretty good cook I think, but, I've never ... made zucchini noodles. Do I just throw a sauce or whatever and eat them raw? Or do I need to pan fry them a bit in some olive oil/garlic.... THEN add my sauce?

I'd boil them for a couple of minutes, then just add a sauce as you would with pasta.

They might cook very quickly so you might not have to pre-cook them too long - these Zoodles could be used in many ways - throw them in a stir fry (you probably wouldn't need to pre-cook in that case), use with a pasta type sauce, you could pretty much add them to anything...I think they would be good saute'd with garlic as you stated just on their own. If you're a good cook as stated then I am sure you like to play with your food and try new things! Have fun!
