I used to do that and I still do that some days. It gets depressing though because it's not something that can happen in just a day. I find it helps to take even one meal at a time or one emotion at a time. I know mfp says I've only lost one pound, but my starting weight before I joined mfp was 279 pounds. I've lost about 20 pounds and the only way to get through is to focus on short term goals to achieve your long term ones. Don't let yourself get so consumed with the "I need to lose weight" soundtrack that you forget your achievements either, no matter how small!0

I'm the same sometimes... It's really easy to get obsessed when it comes to diet and exercise but it's not healthy for it to become your whole life. It might seem like the only thing that's important but you should want to lose weight to live, not live to lose weight.0
