Seeking running buddies who are maintaining

Hi
I am a working mum in my early 50s, now maintaining and getting into running, and I am looking for one or two friends perhaps in a similar situation who are happy to comment on my progress each day - and I will comment on your diary and exercise posts - and together we can motivate each other. Running is not for everyone, but I am really enjoying it. I may even work up to a half marathon in the second half of 2014.

    Somewhat younger....basically maintaining (trying to knock of the holiday 5lbs)... started running 2.5 years ago. 5 kids. Work full time. Ran my first (and likely only) marathon in October. Have 3 halfs on deck for the spring and planning 3 for the fall. I don't finish my food diary although you're welcome to look at it. I also don't comment on other's food choices. I'll gladly encourage your activity. Not a perfect friend, but I'm on here every day!

    I'm maintaining, running and in my 50s. I currently run 3x a week. Over the winter (treadmill), I'm working at maintaining my 5K distance and improving speed. In the spring, I plan on training towards running 10K.

    You can add me--a bit younger, newer to running (8-9 months), and plan on my first 10K in < 2 weeks, and 10 miler in November time frame.

    I usually don't comment on diet or exercise unless requested but do give kudos on a regular basis!
  • I am moving to maintenance now and am also training for a half marathon! All can add me!
