who else finds weight loss easy?

i needed to, temporarily, gain some weight. personal reasons.

losing it again has been a piece of cake! ...a fairly small piece, because that's how this stuff works, but a piece of cake nonetheless.
I've found the same thing with baby weight too.

but i almost never hear/read anyone else saying it's an easy thing for them to do..
i'm wondering if there's a guilt/shame thing going on, that we can't say how easy it is because some others find it so hard.
will people assume i lack empathy or i'm judging them if i admit to finding it a doddle?

It's easier to do this time around than the last Umpty-Million times. I finally found what works...watcing calories in versus calroies out and exercising when I need to eek out a few more calories for the day.

It's definitely not "easy" though. I'm tired of doing it, and I was mentally not in the game for a few weeks (ending yesterday in the Great Binge). I'm back in it to win it now, though. Binge over. Mental block over. Time to step it up.

ETA: I know you're not judging/shaming/trying to make me feel bad. I'm glad it's easy for you.

I joined this site 2 weeks ago to merely "maintain" my weight and keep converting any other fat to muscle but because I been following my goals I have lost another 4 pounds. So I guess its easy if I not hoping too. But I did have to try to get the first 25 prior to joining MFP

It's easy-ish but not as easy as before when I could just fart and magically lose 10 lbs.

I've lost 5lbs since the new year by lowering my calories and light workouts but I'm upping my activity level slowly but surely.

When you're doing everything right, it should be easy. No reason to feel guilty when someone else exceeds calories on a regular basis of a sheer lack of willpower when there's a chocolate cake in the break room or someone who 'wants" to exercise, but is always "too busy" to find the time.
