So here is my question....
If you had to choose just a couple of kitchen gadgets, tools, or other weight loss aids that you feel you could not successfully lose or maintain without.... what would they be? and also.... what would you say is the biggest waste of money you have ever bought for your weight loss or fitness goals? Thanks in advance... looking forward to hearing your answers!!
The best things I have in my arsenal are a good digital weight scale, a good digital food scale, and a George foreman type grill.
Biggest waste of my money has been a slicer, an over the door weight lifting gadget, and those tiny little "bars" of various kinds that are low in calories, fat, carbs,... high in fiber... etc... that cost an arm and a leg each and feel like I haven't eaten a thing afterward.

Apart from the obvious scales etc, my Actifry means I can still have chips!0

Agreed and have to add can opener. It's a real pain trying to open a can with a knife/other sharp object/not slit your wrist and bleed all over yourself and the kitchen in the process.:ohwell:0 -
Aside from my kitchen scale (an absolute MUST), my Vitamix. LOVE it!!0

When my fella moved in he brought with him a 3-tier saucepan/steamer, which we use ALL the time. Wouldn't be without it... Or him!0

Problem solved, knives aren't allowed with this method!

There are very few things I could live without in my kitchen. I'm pretty picky about what goes into it in the first place, so the things I could go without are the waffle maker (I do evil things with it), and the juicer (I found I prefer the whole food lol).0

Not long I guess. How would I weigh my food out in the wilderness? Tie that sucker around my hip? And cry when the batteries run out.0 -
My husband.
Though I suspect he wouldn't be amused to hear I referred to his as a gadget.0 -
Measuring cups, spoons and scale. I''m trying to think what else. Hmmmm...a good knife.0

I really like having a blender that is capable of making spinach smoothies.0

Digital scale (not a kitchen gadget...just my bathroom scale that I weigh on daily)
Frying pan & turner - I believe eggs and especially egg tacos to be a HUGE part of my personal success thus far0 -
Chef's knife. Literally the only kitchen tool you need. Give me a chef's knife and a cast iron pan, I'm golden.0

I use the food scale a bunch but I don't think my weight loss would suffer without it. My steamer is the *kitten* of my kitchen, she gets used daily, sometimes multiple times. I'd be bummed if I couldn't have that.0

Other than the obvious (fridge/stove/etc.) I really love my Ninja blender, my rice cooker and my vegetable spiralizer!0

Scale
Crockpot

Magic Bullet blender. Green smoothies rock, and can't beat the 30 second cleanup!0
