Hi, I am 49 yrs old and 5'2". I weigh 133. I have lost 25 lbs since Sept and would like to lose 10-15 more. But I also want to get more toned and definition. I realize I can't build when I am still trying to lose. I go to the gym 6 days each week, Aerobics/step/muscle mix classes (3) and the elliptical or bike and weight machines(3).
When I do the machines, I do full body every time. 2 sets of 15 reps. I have increased weights so I am struggling for the last few reps. I feel I should mix this up but I am not really sure what to do.
I stay away from the free weights cause there are usually a bunch of pretty fit guys in that area. I feel intimidated not that they are intimidating, its just me.
I hope you guys can give me some tips. Weight room tomorrow. Thanks!
