What are some food suggestions for getting more protein in my diet? I have high cholesterol so I have to limit eating meat and dairy. Thanks!

    over 200g every day

Stick to leaner cuts of meat.

Blood lipids typically improve with weight loss also.

Protein powders are awesome. I agree with the above. I don't supplement with them very often because I get protein from soy products, but the powders are a great bridge to fill that gap with little impact in other areas.

    lean meat, poultry, fish
    non-fat or lowfat dairy
    beans and lentils
    whole grains
moderate amounts of nut, nut butters, and seeds
