Need help for eating out

Today is Eid so Eid Mubarak to all you muslims out there. My mum wants to take me and my sisters out to dinner, and it's most likely going to be Indian. I am worried because of the amount of oil they use in their food may sabotage my weightloss, what should I do or rather, what are the best choices to make?

ahh indian, that can be tough.
hmmm....well you could always plan today as an off day since it is a holiday. or maybe you can discuss it with your mom that you're looking for more lighter fare? and find a restaurant that doesnt quite use so much oil. or just eat half of what you order and if anyone asks just say "i'm surprisingly not that hungry today" and take the other half home.

I would just try to estimate which items would have the least amount of calories and try to eat less (maybe you can order off the 'lunch' menu for size or take the rest home as leftovers). Try to make healthier choices (tofu vs. beef, vegetables vs. fried appetizer, etc.) Just make sure you input as close as possible into the food tracker on here so you can either balance out with the rest of the week or try to make it up via more exercise. I would just celebrate: Eat and be merry fopr today..
Work harder tomorrow top burn any excess.. Don't stress over it..

Thanks everyone
I thought I would cut back today and so I have. Yesterday was good, I did eat a few things I shouldn't have but I don't regret it
I promised myself that I won't weigh myself till monday otherwise I'll end up starving myself :P LOL0
