I am having surgery this Friday and won't be able to weight lift for a month. Will I lose all the hard work I have done so far?

Not all of it. As long as you continue to eat well and get plenty of protein, you probably won't lose much muscle mass in a month.
You will lose some strength, but that should come back once you get back into your routine.0 -

I would even go so far as to say that you may heal faster since you have been weightlifting.0
