Starting Again

Hi all,
I lost three and a half stone in 2012 (49lbs) and was feeling very proud of myself.
However - my husband lost his job then I stopped smoking and the stress of him being unemployed coupled with eating too much after stopping smoking means I am now back to square one with a bit more on in addition!
I have to lose this weight - I weigh more than 250lbs and I'm disgusted with myself for allowing myself to get like this (AGAIN!). Do I never learn? It seems not. I feel like I've got a mountain to climb. I am fifteen months smoke free now so it's been long enough for me to tackle the food issues now.
If anyone else is in the same (or similar) boat weighing (or have weighed) 250lbs plus, I'd be happy to be friends, I need all the help I can get!

You can do it! It will be a lot of hard work but anything worth doing is. I've slipped back a bit (~10lb) but i'm picking up the pace again.
You know what to do so good luck0 -
I'm starting again too. Starting again is hard, but you should be proud that you're finding the courage! I know that I am! I've also quit smoking a while ago. It will be exactly one year on the 15th of this month. I can't imagine going back to tobacco. YUK! So, let's take a sec to celebrate this HUGE achievement! Yay! I look at weight loss and maintenance as taking care of myself... I'm always trying something new, and this time, going back to tried and true basics0

I slipped and gain back what I had lost last year after re-injuring my back and spending 2 months not working out and in physical therapy. I'm starting again and hoping to get back to where I was.0

Thanks for the encouraging replies (and friend requests!). I'm glad I'm not alone in being back here having to start again.
It worked so well for me before and I felt so much better for it so I have to look forward to feeling like that again, except this time I'm smoke free too!0
