Goal to Lose Weight Nutrition Levels

Options
Hi I am working on getting the right nutrition goals to lose 20#. Not looking for any gimmicks, just was to do the exercise and diet and be successful. Have re-started on MFP this year 5'1" 145 lbs and think I need to tweak my nutrition levels. I have a strong family history of diabetes so have to watch my sugars. Focusing on protein has helped me lose in the past. I have been getting information from the web for women so really prefer hearing how women are finding success with their nutrition to lose weight. Thanks for your help! Here is one of the articles on protein I found that I liked.

Someone on MFP forum gave me this link and I found what I needed. They have a calculator that will provide macro nutrients and rate of weight loss based on your personal stats.

I have my BMR now at 1279
    My TDEE is 1759
    My daily calories 1407

I will have 20% fat reduction with this program. I plan to eat 5 meals a day at 281 calories. I will continue my weights and cardio routine at least 6 days a week. I have my husband's support and feel confident. Sure took a long time to get my mind into this.

My first fourth month goal is May 2014 to lose 11#.

Hope this helps anybody else looking to structure their program more. Good luck y'all.
