Fell of the Wagon

I've been dieting and working out for the last five weeks. I have dieted before and lost around 25lb but have ended up putting most of it back on. This time it's coming off a lot slower and last week I lost motivation.

I ate too much, drank too much and didnt work out. I didn't log either, mainly because I didnt want to see the actual damage :(

Re-starting today and dreading the weigh in!!

Looking for online buddies to help keep me motivated?

Well hop back on! Today is a new day, a new slate. Start logging today. Don't weight yourself if you think it will get you down. Start working out and eating right first, the scale can wait. Think positive and move forward from here. You took the first step and say you want to change, only you can make it happen. Here for support if you need it. Feel free to add me.

We've all been there. You can't change last week, so put that behind you and start fresh again today. My best suggestion is to not look at this as a diet. Diets come to an end and you'll regain as soon as you return to old eating habits.

To me, this is a lifestyle change. An overhaul of how I live, eat, exercise, relax etc. There will be times I'll go off plan, like special occasions or periods of high stress, and that's ok. It's just life.

For you to be successful long term, you have to find your own motivation. Believe me I know, it took me 25 yrs to find mine. It's there, inside you somewhere, and you have to be willing to dig deep and find it. Others can tell you what to do or not to do, what to eat, how much to exercise etc but you have to want it and want it badly.

Every day I say out loud to myself "You CAN do this!". You Can do it too.

Me too. I've had a inconsistent last 2 weeks...but am starting fresh today.

You've got this! Way better to start fresh than to give up!

It would help to make your diary viewable to your friends. I see you already completed it for the day, good job.

There is no wagon. If you broke a cup would you chuck out the whole china set? get back at it and you'll be fine...it's just a broken cup ;)
