I'm really only posting because I find inspiration in others' stories, so I would like to contribute to the community. I'm officially 1 month into my dedicated decision to lose weight. Nothing fancy: net calories down, exercise up. Sunday I stepped on the scale and was down 10lbs. I have been yo-yoing up and down by about 20lbs since I graduated from college, although my average weight has been steadily increasing. At the end of the holidays I fearfully stepped on the scale. 220lbs. I'm 5'9", 26yo with bad knees and a herniated disk. My life has to change. So, I'll say it here: I am going to lose 70lbs by my birthday in December.
This is the start of my success story.
Good luck to all of you. I'll check back in come March.
