My day started awesome and quickly went downhill...

Anyone else have a similar day?

Had a doctor's appointment this morning and my doctor was so happy I'm finally taking care of myself. I was in such an amazing mood.

Got to work, weighed in for the Biggest Loser contest, and was down another 5 lbs. Score!

Then... found out I messed up a few things at work and other supervisors were getting on my boss about it. Always a crappy feeling to know you messed up.

To end the day with a bang - I got a voice mail that my grandmother had a massive stroke and can't talk or move. (My grandma is one spry old lady so this is devastating to hear). And I'm in Texas and she's in Illinois so not much I can do.

I think tonight will be my cheat night. It's been a few weeks.

Anyone else wanna complain about their crappy day? I'm a good listener :)

I'm going to count my blessings instead of my burdens. I hope everything turns out well for you. :flowerforyou:

Please don't make it a cheat night, just because you are feeling miserable: that is emotional eating that likely got you to where you are now!

Find other ways to deal with your emotions, like prayer, meditation, go for a walk in the park...

We are understaffed at a stressful job, and I am carrying the weight at the moment (no pun intended) Today was the first time I have felt like walking out the door and never going back. I hated it because I truly love my job. I will get over it and hope for a better day tomorrow. Just having a day where I think I have bitten off more than I can chew! Resisted the choccies though so that's a score! Not that there is anything wrong with choccies in moderation but in the past I have been known to indulge my stressful days with way too many!

@OP sorry about your Grandma, I hope she will be better soon xx:flowerforyou:

So far I haven't actually cheated! But I have had some drinks.

I don't like to complain but today was one of those days. I know things will look up. I have to remember how happy I was this morning!

Thanks for the well wishes about my grandma. She's my last grandparent left and my closest.
