Tried this awhile back and it was disgusting.
    :-(

That's disappointing because it actually sounds kind of good! Ah, well.

Oreo cookies are 45 calories each.

    Just saying.
Which would be great if I could stop at one instead of 20 ... lol

That's what really makes these so great! You can stop at 0.

    They don't sound that bad.

But OP, I wouldn't tout them as "50 cals each" because it depends on the amount of banana.
Bananas are not uniform in size or weight. And by calculating your recipe based off the size of the banana, you're introducing great inaccuracy in your calorie count.
I'd weigh out your ingredients instead of measuring them.

I calculated with the size of the bananas that I used. Just like any recipe, no one's turns out the exact same as another's. People can measure as they like. I also do say that I use approximately 1 cup of banana, which I feel is probably very helpful to sizing it all up. (And some of us don't own scales! Sorry!)

This recipe is missing butter, sugar, and flour.
Maybe. But for people dieting, diabetic, or gluten-intolerant, I think these taste good enough (of course people can change up their own add-ins -- chips, spices, baking powder, etc!) to be a nice, low-calorie, rather healthy treat. They're okay. They get the job done if what you're craving is a sweet little carb boost. :)

This isn't actually much better for a diabetic than a regular cookie ...

I made these with peanut better not chocolate chips. They were ok while warm and when they were cold they made great dog biscuits!

omg there's a potbelly right across the street from my work and I have successfully avoided going in for a cookie for like the past month. Now I'll have to stop in for a double chocolate brownie cookie (or whatever they're called). They're delicious.

    Ahhhh seriously.
