5lbs! What's the most you've fluctuated in one day?

I weighed myself yesterday morning at 10am - I'd gained and scales said 16st 11lb. I've weighed myself just now, same time, same boxer shorts, same scales, and they read 16st 6lb! How can I lose 5lb in 24hrs?! And what is my REAL weight?

How much have you ever fluctuated in one day?

i've gained that in one day, took me forever to get it off too!!! also the first week back from christmas break I lost 6lb over night... I guess sometimes it happens, could be dehydrated and my bet is you ill gain some of it back (i did)
  • I've seen mine fluctuate as much as 10 pounds, but that was pretty extreme and when I was in my early teens. Normally I weigh about 2-3 pounds more in the evening than I do in the morning. Sometimes it's exactly the same but it's rare.

About 6lbs, usually after I stuff my face with something full of sodium.

I've seen a 5 lb fluctuation. This week it's only about 3 lbs. Seems to be normal for me. I don't have any clue why, though. I've come to realize I cycle like this.

New low---gain it back plus a few lbs---take for freakin ever to lose it back off again---new low---repeat.

It's like my body realizes it's lost something and then hoards all the something it lost in case it loses it again. *shrug*

Is your scale on a flat surface? This happens to me depending on where i place my scales, i've had 7lbs increase depending on the surface my scale is placed.

I never move the scales, but there may be a sink-hole beneath my apartment where the weight is hiding ;)

I have a good 5 or 6 pound range at any given time, whether I'm chubby or thin. But if anyone asks my weight I'll give the lowest number
