What is the best way of getting more protein into breakfast? I know eggs are good source but I don't want those everyday, plus they aren't good for my stomach. I do have peanut butter on ryvita some days but looking for a little more variety.

Suggestions??

Overnight oats made with greek yogurt? I eat peanut buttter, a protein shake, and some soy milk. Do you want only breakfasty foods? I used to eat chicken salads for breakfast because I liked how they tasted, and full of protein and good fats (I put avocados or guacamole on my salads). Also, breakfast tacos, hummus with veggies or bread, cottage cheese, quiche (egg like, but maybe different enough?), meat and potato hash, lox, etc.

When I want a break, or just don't feeling like spending much time fixing something, I have a container of whey/casein mix and just do a quick shake. I generally just do 1/2 of a scoop and add whatever I feel like to the mix (peanut butter, berries, banana, egg) plus some melted coconut oil for the fat. There seems to be a lot of variety in the texture and taste of the protein powder and there was recently a long discussion on MFP with many recommendations. If you go that route you'll have to experiment to find one you like. Greek yogurt is another option although it has more carbs than I generally want.

I try to drink a protein shake with milk on my commute (60g), and 2 pieces of egg bake / quich that I whip up at home (32g) when I get here. If paying for breakfast is more your bag, 2 egg white delite sandwichs from McDonald's (36g) tip a lot of people's triggers. Sorry so egg based. I like eggs :-)

I make 1/2 cup oatmeal, and mix in a scoop of protein powder (usually vanilla) and add 1/2 cup blueberries.
